Our story

Muru Baby Food Oy's goal is to make the world's best food for babies and children.

Muru Baby's roots date back to around 2010, when new father Henri Alén began to think about ready-made baby food. Why are they so tasteless? Shouldn't food for babies and children be made with at least as much ambition as food for adults – with an emphasis on recipes, ingredients, and cooking methods?

Henkka began to share his dream with one person, who then told another. Eventually, a group of people with a passion for food and a background in children's nutrition gathered around the table.

It took a long time to realize the dream of super-healthy children's food. Finding the right factory, food preparation method, and good packaging proved to be like looking for a needle in a haystack...

After 10 years of hard work, Muru Baby products can now be found on store shelves.
